Not a junior pretending to be senior. Not a senior pretending to be junior. Just someone who's been around the block — a different block.

01
I've actually shipped something.
TenancyFlow is live on iOS and Android — designed, built, marketed, supported by me. I know how product decisions feel six months after they hit users.
02
I think across disciplines.
Ten years as a nurse means I'm used to designing for high-stakes, stressed-out humans. I'll ask the questions other designers skip — and bring different mental models to the table.
03
I show up every day.
Daily craft posts, public experiments, weird gradients. I get better in public. You'll get a designer who's actively growing, not one coasting on prior work.

Whether you're hiring, collaborating, or just want to chat about glassmorphism — drop a line.

And honest answers. If yours isn't here, send it — I'll add it.

Are you available for full-time roles? +
Yes — I'm actively looking for product design roles, ideally on small teams shipping consumer or B2B products. Remote-friendly across North American time zones.
Why did you leave nursing? +
After ten years in clinical work, I wanted to widen my impact and build things that scale beyond one bedside at a time. Design felt like the most honest way to use the skills nursing gave me — empathy under pressure, attention to detail — at a larger scale.
Do you code, or only design? +
Both. I shipped TenancyFlow myself — React Native frontend, Supabase backend, in-app purchases on iOS and Android. I'm not a senior engineer, but I can hold my own in code reviews and prototype real systems.
What tools do you use day-to-day? +
Figma for design, Cursor + VS Code for code, React Native + Expo for mobile, Supabase + Cloudflare for infra. I lean on Claude Code for pair-programming.
Can I see your full portfolio / case studies? +
Yes — the full TenancyFlow case study is in the Insights section above, and I'm happy to walk through process work over a call. Email me.
Do you take freelance projects? +
Selectively. I prioritize full-time work right now but if the project is interesting and the timeline reasonable, send a note.

Thank you for reading.
